Srila Sanatan Goswami's Bṛhad-vaiṣṇava-toṣaṇī commentary on SB 10.33.39 (40 in some versions).
vraje yā vadhvo nūtana-vivāhitā iva nava-yauvanā gopyaḥ | In Vraja the gopikas like newly wedded brides.
yad vā rāsa-krīḍayā sākṣat tat-patnītvam iva prāptās tābhiḥ | Or else, by the rAsa krida, having obtained their wifehood.
idaṁ ca rāsa-krīḍā-lakṣaṇaṁ viśiṣṭaṁ krīḍitaṁ krīḍām | This being the characteristic of the rAsa krida, which is a special krida or a special play/sport/game/passtime.
ca-kārād etādṛśam anyad api | The 'cha' means, like this play other plays are also special.
kiṁ vā, tv-arthe ca-śabdo’nyato viśeṣāt | Or else, 'cha' gives the meaning of 'tu', meaning more special than other plays of the Lord.
viṣṇor iti tāsāṁ madhye dvayor dvayor [bhā.pu. 10.33.3] ity ādy ukta-vyāpakatvābhiprāyeṇa | As Sri Krishna is placed in between every Gopika, he is found everywhere or is vyapaka, hence Sri Krishna is addressed as Vishnu here.
śraddhānvita iti anyathā rasānudayena parama-bhakty-sampattiḥ | Shraddhanvita here means, one who posseses the wealth of great bhakti and who has no interest in other things (than Bhakti)
śraddhānvitatvād eva anu nirantaraṁ śṛṇuyāt | with 'anu' it means to listen with deep shraddha non-stop or without interruption
etac ca tathaiva | yad vā, nu niścitam | or else 'nu' could mean 'nischitam' or definitely/conclusively listen
atha śravaṇānantaraṁ śraddhānvitatvāt | And hence meaning listening continuously with great faith.
yad vā, vikalpārthe’nuvarṇayed vā | Another meaning (of anu) could be to describe (after listening)
kiṁ vā, anu ukta-samuccaye | or another meaning (of anu) being collection of what has been said.
samerc ca | , i.e., putting together all that has been said.
pratyekaṁ sarveṣāṁ parama-bhakti-sādhanatvāt | Each of it (listening, describing/remembering and speaking) being sadhana for parama bhakti.
tathāpi śravaṇādi-trayasyāsya yathottaraṁ tatra śraiṣṭhyam eva jñeyam | Even though each the three activities grant parama bhakti, Kirtana is higher than, Smarana and Smarana is higher than Shravana.
ya ity adhikāritvāpekṣā nirastā | There is no qualification does not require qualification (apart from being shraddhanvita or or there is no greater qualification than shraddha ? ).
parāṁ paramāṁ prema-lakṣaṇāṁ pratikṣaṇaṁ nūtanatvena labdhvā | parAm meaning the greatest prema, every moment bringing newness and freshness to this prema.
hṛd-roga-rūpaṁ kāmam iti bhagavad-viṣayakaḥ kāmo vyavacchinnaḥ | kAma being like a diease of the heart, note the kama referred to as Hrid-roga is not related to the kama with connection to Bhagavan.
tasya paramāmṛtatvena tad-vaiparītyāt | The Kama related to Bhagavan is the greatest nectar, and this kama is just the opposite.
dhīraḥ sarvārtha-tattva-vettā, sa punaḥ kāmādi-kṣubhita-citto vā, hṛd-roga-tyāgādikam etat parama-bhakter ānuṣaṅgikaṁ phalaṁ jñeyam |
dhirah here means one who understands all the tattvas, this dhirah by obtaining this parama bhakti, it is accompanied with giving up this hrd-roga kama ( chitta/mind disturbed with kama) kama,
tasyā eva mukhya-phalatvāt | This is the main phala or fruit ( obtaining parama bhakti which is accompanied by destruction of hrd roga kama)
tat-krīḍā-śravṇādināpy etat syāt | By listening, remembering and speaking about this krida this is thus obtained.
kiṁ vaktavyam ? tasya laukika-nindya-kāmya-krīḍāvat sā krīḍeti prasaṅgānusāreṇa tātparyaṁ kalpyam | what is expressed here ? To think of this rAsa krida as a worldy act of lust (which is to be condemned) is false or imagination.
atas tasya tapasāṁ ca kāma-viśeṣaḥ prema-paripāka-vilāsa-viśeṣa-rūpa eva | Thus this special kama is the special form of riperend prema/love pass time of the Lord.
na tu prākṛta iti likhitam eva | And that this leela is not prAkrtam or worldy but transcendental.
vivṛtaṁ ca śrī-bhāgavatāmṛte | anyat tair vyākhyātam | This has been further described in Brihad Bhagavatamrita.
To summarize the commentary, a person endowed with great bhakti who has no taste for anything else and one who understands all tattvas, when he continuously listens to, rememebers
or speaks about this very special play of Sri Krishna, who expands himself among the gopikas of Vrajas, who are like newly wedded brides, he obtains the greatest Prema, which is ever fresh and new, this is accompanied with the destruction of lust which is like a disease of the heart, which agitates one mind. This play of Sri Krishna is transcendental and has nothing worldly about it.
